Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Driver in Thame, Oxfordshire, on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves operating counterbalance and Pivot forklifts, loading/unloading stock, and ensuring inventory accuracy with safe practices.

Shifts run 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–midnight, with free onsite parking and a collaborative team. A valid forklift licence is essential; WMS experience is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence required.
• Previous forklift driving and warehouse experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Capable of manual handling duties and reliable with timekeeping.
• Good IT and computer skills; experience with warehouse systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance, Pivot/Flexi and pallet trucks safely.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Move, stack and store stock in designated locations.
• Pick and prepare materials for production processes.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support general warehouse activities as required.

Contract Details: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Rotating Shifts - Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - Midnight

Salary: £15.50 per hour (£32,240 per annum)

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations and ensuring stock is moved, stored, and prepared accurately and safely.

Duties will include:

• Operating counterbalance forklifts, Pivot/Flexi trucks, and pallet trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving, stacking, and storing stock within designated warehouse locations
• Picking and preparing materials for production processes
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting faults promptly
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Supporting general warehouse activities as required

Essential Skills and Attributes
