Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Thame is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team on a temporary to permanent basis. The role requires operating a counterbalance forklift, picking goods, loading and unloading, and using a computerised warehouse system; start date ASAP and 40 hours per week.

Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Thame

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent opportunity

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Thame.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional looking for a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Warehouse picking and general warehouse duties
• Loading and unloading goods
• Using computerised warehouse systems
• Ensuring goods are stored and handled safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

Working Hours

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – midnight

40 hours per week

About You

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
• Previous warehouse picking experience
• Good literacy skills
• Experience using computerised warehouse systems
• A reliable and hardworking approach
• The flexibility to work the alternating shift pattern

Important Location Information

Due to the location and shift times, candidates will need to have their own transport or live in Thame, with reliable means of getting to and from work for all shifts.
