Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an Automation Operative to join a busy automated warehouse. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading a fully automated system using FLT and PPT equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Based at Wrexham Industrial Estate, you will work Monday to Thursday 12:00pm-10:00pm, with a long weekend every week and opportunities for training, development and progression within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance and/or PPT licence required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products into an automated warehouse system.
• Operate FLT and PPT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor material flow through the automated process.
• Ensure stock is moved and stored correctly in designated locations.
• Complete routine stock checks and inventory movements.
• Support warehouse and logistics operations as needed.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet targets.

Automation Operative

We are recruiting Automation Operatives to join a busy and innovative manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role working within an automated warehouse environment, responsible for loading and unloading a fully automated system using Forklift Trucks (FLT) and Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT).

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced warehouse and logistics professionals looking to join a growing business offering stability, training, and long-term development opportunities.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Thursday 12:00pm - 10:00pm

Location: Wrexham Industrial Estate

Enjoy a long weekend every week with a permanent 4-day working pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading products into an automated warehouse system
• Operating FLT and PPT equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitoring the flow of materials through the automated process
• Ensuring stock is accurately moved and stored within designated locations
• Completing routine stock checks and inventory movements
• Supporting warehouse and logistics operations as required
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
• Working collaboratively with production and logistics teams to ensure operational targets are achieved

Requirements

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Valid FLT Counterbalance and/or PPT licence (essential)
• Experience loading and unloading materials using FLT equipment
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced automated environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
