Job summary

A well-established manufacturing company in Shrewsbury is seeking a Warehouse Operative. The role involves unloading/load vehicles, managing goods, and general warehouse duties. Candidates must have previous picking/packing experience and warehouse operative experience. Shifts available include evenings and days, with a salary review every April. Free on-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience picking/packing and loading vehicles is essential.
• Experience as a warehouse operative is essential.
• Driving licence and transport is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load vehicles and check parts against delivery notes.
• Manage goods in and out.
• Conduct despatch operations.
• Perform order picking and packing.
• Complete other warehouse duties as required.
• Maintain general housekeeping.

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established manufacturing company in their search for a Warehouse Operativeto work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Warehouse Operative our client is offering:

• 2 Shifts available: Monday to Thursday 13:30pm-23:30pm and 13:30- 22:00 (47.5 paid hours per week) OR Monday to Friday 6am-4pm
• Salary review every April
• Free on site parking

The Role - Warehouse Operative:

• Unloading and loading of vehicles and checking parts vs delivery notes
• Goods in & out
• Despatch
• Order picking and packing
• Other warehouse duties as required
• General house keeping

What our client is looking for in a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience picking/ packing and loading vehicles- ESSENTIAL
• Experience as a warehouse operative ESSENTIAL
• Driving licence and transport- ADVANTAGEOUS
