Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for our Langland’s Park site in East Kilbride. You will lead and coach your team on the late shift (13:30–22:30) to deliver on the work plan and KPIs, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.

You will oversee shift performance, drive improvements, and ensure effective training within the warehouse, while benefiting from GXO’s pension, private medical and dental insurance, and employee support programs.

• Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement projects with strong planning skills.

We’re looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our Sainsbury’s team at our site in Langland’s Park, East Kilbride. You will be responsible fo r managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.

You’ll be working any 5 days from 7 on the late shift of 13.30pm till 22.30pm.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,675.50 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• To lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs
• Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
• Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
• Management of the warehouse training requirement and function

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-pacedwarehouse environment (ideally a food operation)
• The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstratingexcellent planning skills
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
