Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for our Northampton site (NN7 2FR). The role offers a fixed shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £13.59 per hour.

Experience with Counterbalance Forklift Truck is highly desirable as you will move baled cardboard and assist with general site operations; good health and safety practices are essential, and reliability is prized.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Counterbalance forklift truck experience desirable.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining warehouse and site cleanliness to a high standard
• Operating an industrial sweeper across the site
• Moving baled cardboard using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Managing waste streams and controlling site bins
• Supporting housekeeping and recycling activities
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

Warehouse Operative Location: Northampton (NN7 2FR)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to help maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities well maintained and enjoys a varied, hands-on position.

Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck is highly desirable, as the successful candidate will be required to move baled cardboard and support general site operations.
