The Best Connection in Tamworth is recruiting a Night Warehouse Administrator to join a busy logistics operation. You will provide essential admin support to the warehouse and transport teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and accurate reporting.

This night shift role runs 18:00–06:00 on a 3 on/3 off pattern, with a pay rate of £14.90 per hour. The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse administration or logistics administration experience desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support communication between warehouse and transport teams.
• Complete administration tasks accurately and within timescales.
• Support warehouse activities including: Pick activity; Inbound activity; Outbound activity; Allocation and replenishment; Booking out processes; Loading schedules; Driver paperwork.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets and operational reports.
• Ensure KPI data is accurate and up to date.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and coordinate stock checks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.
• Working closely with internal teams to improve efficiency and performance.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established distribution company based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Administrator looking to join a busy logistics operation, with permanent opportunities available following a successful trial period.

The Role

As a Night Warehouse Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the warehouse and transport teams, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, accurate reporting, and effective communication across the site.

You will play a key role in maintaining operational performance, supporting warehouse processes, and helping achieve service level and KPI targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting communication between warehouse and transport teams
• Completing administration tasks accurately and within required timescales
• Supporting warehouse activities including:
  • Pick activity
  • Inbound activity
  • Outbound activity
