The Best Connection Tamworth is seeking Night Warehouse Operatives for a busy distribution site in Tamworth. The role involves picking, packing, scanning, and preparing stock for dispatch, with full training on PPT and LLOP provided. Ongoing temporary work with potential permanent opportunities is available.

You will work nights (18:00–06:00) Monday to Thursday, earning £13.83 per hour. Candidates with warehouse or picking experience are welcome, and full training will be given to the right

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare stock for dispatch.
• Put stock away into correct locations.
• Scan products using warehouse systems accurately.
• Check stock and report discrepancies.
• Palettise goods for dispatch and shrink wrap securely.
• Load and prepare goods for onward distribution.
• Operate MHE (PPT and LLOP) with training provided.
• Maintain stock locations and general warehouse duties.

Night Warehouse Operative - Picking

Location: Tamworth

Pay: £13.83 per hour

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 - 06:00

Contract: Ongoing temporary work with potential for permanent employment

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting Night Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established business within the distribution industry, based in Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse or picking experience who are looking for long‑term, ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful trial period.

Full training will be provided on Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including PPT and LLOP.

The Role

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, your main responsibilities will include:

• Picking and preparing stock for dispatch.
• Putting stock away into the correct warehouse locations.
• Scanning products accurately using warehouse scanning systems.
• Checking stock and reporting any discrepancies.
• Palletising goods ready for dispatch.
• Shrink wrapping pallets and goods securely.
• Loading and preparing goods for onward distribution.
• Operating warehouse MHE, including PPT and LLOP - full training provided.
• Maintaining accurate stock locations and warehouse standards.
• General warehouse duties as required.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and a clean, safe working environment.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday - Thursday
• 18:00 - 06:00
• Monday: Half night, finishing at 00:00
• £13.83 per hour
• Ongoing work with potential for permanent employment.

Requirements

Previous warehouse or picking experience is preferred, but full training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude.
