This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, safety, general maintenance, and grounds care to ensure all facilities, holiday homes, and outdoor areas are maintained to an exceptional standard.

Duties will include:

  • Support the enforcement of park guidelines in a professional, fair, and approachable way

  • Respond calmly and effectively to any incidents, emergencies, or customer queries

  • Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of holiday homes, park facilities, and infrastructure

  • Maintain public facilities, including communal areas, amenities, and recreational spaces

  • Inspect and support utility systems such as water, sewage, gas, and electrical services

  • Perform landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and general grounds upkeep

  • Monitor and control weeds, and assist with pitch and site enhancements

  • Prepare caravan and holiday home pitches to a high standard for guest arrivals

  • Support site cleanliness through waste collection, recycling management, and safe disposal of materials

  • Deliver and exchange gas bottles and support associated operational duties

  • Inspect outdoor amenities such as playgrounds and report defects or maintenance needs promptly

  • Spot, report, and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner

  • Keep clear and accurate records of patrols, completed work, materials used, incidents, and daily activities

  • Share updates across team members to ensure all park operations run seamlessly

Skills Required:

  • A friendly, approachable personality with a genuine passion for delivering great customer service

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with guests, owners, and team members

  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure or during emergency incidents

  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks

  • Basic maintenance knowledge (including general repairs, light plumbing, or electrical awareness) or a strong willingness to learn

  • Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or similar practical outdoor roles

  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and grounds maintenance equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high presentation and cleanliness standards

  • Good problem-solving skills with a practical and flexible approach

  • Ability to carry out physical tasks including manual handling and working outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Basic IT skills, including the ability to use company administrative systems and workflow applications

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a park warden, maintenance, groundskeeping, or customer service role (desirable)

  • Practical, hands‑on skills in basic maintenance, caretaking, or landscaping work

  • Relevant trade or vocational qualifications (advantageous but not essential)

Health and Safety:

At Harrison Leisure, safety is at the heart of everything we do. You will be expected to:

  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy working culture on site at all times

  • Follow all company health and safety procedures, policies, and risk assessments

  • Take responsibility for your own safety and that of colleagues, holiday homeowners, and park guests

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) whenever required

  • Report all accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly to management
