KIMS Hospital Ltd in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Ward Clerk to support the Preoperative Assessment and Outpatients Team. You will help run clinics, manage patient records and ensure a welcoming, efficient patient experience.

Qualifications

• Be an experienced administrator with literacy and numeracy skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Healthcare sector experience preferred or similar high-pressure admin role.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in acute hospital or preoperative assessment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the smooth running of clinics and book in patients.
• Maintain patient documentation within one set of notes and update pre-assessment data.
• Greet and support patients and visitors, respecting privacy and dignity.
• Input patient information into the patient administration system.
• Liaise with NHS hospitals, GP surgeries and other providers as needed.
• Support patients in using LifeBox for preoperative assessment.
