Ward Clerk

Location: Ashtead Hospital, Surrey

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

Ashtead Hospital is one of Surrey's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for self-pay/insured and NHS patients. Conveniently situated close to Leatherhead (Junction 9 of the M25), the hospital is located in tranquil, wooded surroundings. These provide a peaceful environment to aid a speedy recovery.

The role:

We currently have a great opportunity for a Ward Clerk to join our team at Ashtead Hospital based in Surrey. As the Ward Clerk, you will be expected to be a part of our busy Ward and Admin team. You will be dealing with our computer system - Maxims, as well as ensuring contemporaneous medical folders while patients are in with us. You will also be expected to answer the phone to patients and visitors and be able to field the calls appropriately.

You will ensure that all admin processes are adhered to in a timely and professional manner. On a daily basis you will keep patient’s paperwork up to date, accurate and support the wider Ward team with effectively managing all admin for the department.
