Job summary
Band 2 Ward Clerk (Orthopaedic Trauma Unit)
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our busy Orthopaedic Trauma Unit.
You will work in a culture that puts the patient first, where our colleagues feel proud of their roles and are valued for their contributions.
This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week (two-week rotation pattern: Week One: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 07:00-17:30, Friday 07:00-15:00 / Week Two: Monday/Tuesday/Friday 07:00-17:30, Saturday 07:00-15:00).
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and organized individual to provide outstanding service to all visitors of the department.
You should be confident working within a team in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent IT skills, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues at all levels, and work efficiently under pressure.
You will be responsible for carrying out your duties accurately and consistently, providing a high-quality, efficient service in a confident and courteous manner to service users.
Experience in working within an administrative environment, managing multiple computer systems, and handling data (both electronic and paper-based) is essential.
Adherence to local procedures, deadlines, and best practices will be a key aspect of the role.
