Job description

Band 2 Ward Clerk (Orthopaedic Trauma Unit)

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our busy Orthopaedic Trauma Unit.

You will work in a culture that puts the patient first, where our colleagues feel proud of their role and are valued for their contribution.

Position Details

This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week on a two-week rotation pattern:

  1. Week One: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 07:00-17:30, Friday 07:00-15:00
  2. Week Two: Monday/Tuesday/Friday 07:00-17:30, Saturday 07:00-15:00
Candidate Profile

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and organized individual to provide outstanding service to all visitors.

The ideal candidate will be confident working within a team in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent IT skills, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues at all levels. The ability to work quickly under pressure is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently and accurately perform duties related to administrative tasks.
  • Provide high-quality, efficient service in a confident and courteous manner.
  • Manage data effectively, using multiple computer systems and handling both electronic and paper-based records.
  • Ensure full compliance with local procedures, deadlines, and best practices.
