Qualifications

• Previous catering or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• We are looking for positive, reliable people with good communication and teamwork skills and a willingness to learn.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing a friendly, professional and high-quality food and beverage service.
• Following all departmental procedures for patient meal service and food safety.
• Recording temperatures of regenerated food, chilled and frozen storage in line with HACCP requirements.
• Checking food dates and stock rotation and ensuring food is stored correctly.
• Maintaining excellent cleaning and hygiene standards within the working area.
• Handling cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with COSHH training.
• Managing food waste appropriately and reporting excessive waste to supervisors.
• Identifying and reporting equipment, service or other faults to supervisors or team leads.
• Reporting any concerns regarding inappropriate or abusive behaviour to a supervisor or line manager.
