• Help residents with mobility and moving safely between dining areas, social spaces, and rooms.
• Provide personal care including washing, hygiene and dressing.
• Encourage participation in recreational and social activities, individually or in groups.

Job description

Radis Community Care are looking for a Full Time Waking Night Support worker to join the Radis Team at Lavendar View, Hunstanton.

A new Independent Living scheme in Hunstanton is due to open in September 2026. Extra care enables Customers to live independently in their own contemporary apartment, with the reassurance of on-site care and support facilities. Lavendar View has 61 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.

This will be including alternate weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover.

At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.

The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
