Job summary

Community Integrated Care is hiring a Support Worker for a children’s residential home in a rural UK location. You will support 3 children aged 9-18 with complex emotional and mental health challenges, helping them build confidence and independent living skills while staying overnight on waking night and sleepover shifts.

We offer guaranteed contracted hours, shifts including day and night patterns, driving license with own vehicle, £12.72 rising to £13.46 per hour, 6 weeks annual leave,

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required.
• Own vehicle due to rural location of home.
• Values-based approach to care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support 3 children with independent living skills including cooking, cleaning, budgeting.
• Encourage school attendance and plans for future.
• Help maintain contact with families and friends.
• Provide encouragement and be a positive role model in activities and goals.
