Agincare Childrens' Services in Salisbury is seeking compassionate individuals for a Waking Nights Support Worker role. Join a not-for-profit children's home designed to be warm, supportive and nurturing for up to three children, with shifts covering evenings and overnight.

The role focuses on building relationships, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe environment. Starting pay from £14.50 per hour, rising to £15.50 with an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare; full-time contract

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare is advantageous.
• No specific qualifications are required initially, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
• Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel between dual-registered homes if required.
• Have a minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Support evening, bedtime, and settling routines.
• Promote independence and life skills development.
• Work collaboratively to provide a safe, nurturing environment.
• Monitor wellbeing and conduct hourly welfare checks; assist with light domestic duties.
