Job summary

Agincare Weymouth is seeking compassionate Waking Nights Support Workers to join a newly opened children's home near Salisbury. You will provide consistent, nurturing support to children, including evenings and overnight hours, and help them feel safe and valued.

Full training is provided, with opportunities for progression, a pension, and benefits such as refer-a-friend bonuses and enhanced DBS checks. A driving licence and UK right to work are advantageous.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for supporting children with complex needs.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and overnight shifts.
• Hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Build positive trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Support evening, bedtime and settling routines.
• Promote independence and life skills development.
• Work with colleagues to provide a safe, nurturing environment.
• Support care plans, daily routines and risk assessments.
• Carry out hourly welfare and administrative checks.
• Complete light domestic duties to maintain a welcoming home.
