Aufgaben

• Provide attentive overnight support to children and young people.
• Remain awake, alert and vigilant for the entire night shift.
• Maintain a safe, secure and calm environment throughout the night.
• Carry out regular welfare checks per care plans and risk assessments.
• Monitor wellbeing and identify changes or risks.
• Respond to needs when a young person wakes, offering reassurance.
• Support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• Follow care plans, risk assessments, and agreed strategies.
• Respond to incidents and safeguarding concerns promptly.
• Maintain boundaries and use positive, relationship-based approaches.
• Perform overnight checks for security and fire safety.
• Keep the home safe, clean and welcoming overnight.
• Complete night reports, records and incident documentation.
• Record welfare checks and significant events per procedures.
• Provide a thorough handover to the day team.
• Share important information with colleagues and professionals.
• Do light household duties when quieter periods allow.
• Prepare the home for the morning routine as needed.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and risk management processes.
• Deliver care per regulations governing children's residential homes.
