YourRecruit is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker for a Children's Residential Home in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on providing overnight care to children and young people who may have experienced trauma, ensuring they are safe, settled and supported throughout the night.

We offer full and part-time opportunities, with a salary of £16.00 per hour. The role requires compassion, resilience, and strong communication, with ongoing training and career progression in residential childcare.

Qualifications

• Aged 22 or over and genuine commitment to supporting children and young people.
• Calm and confident when responding to challenging situations.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work waking night shifts and complete written records.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe, secure and nurturing overnight environment.
• Support children and young people in line with individual care plans.
• Build positive, trusting and professional relationships.
• Carry out welfare checks and respond to incidents.
• Maintain accurate records, handovers and daily documentation.
• Administer medication where trained and authorised.
