Job summary

SeeAbility in Honiton seeks a Waking Night Support Worker to help residents with daily routines and personal care during night hours. You’ll support people to live as independently as possible in a learning disability and autism focused home, building trust and promoting wellbeing.

You’ll benefit from guaranteed hours, paid training and a friendly team, with opportunities to develop skills through our rewards and recognition program. A UK driving licence is not required.

Qualifications

  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • The right to live and work in the UK.
  • A practical, active approach to work, with ability to support people throughout the day.

  • Supporting daily routines from night to morning and bedtime.
  • Planning and enabling person-centred activities during night hours.
  • Building trusted, respectful relationships that support confidence and wellbeing.

Job description

Waking Night Support Worker – Make Every Day Matter

Location: Honiton, Devon

Salary: £13.09 per hour (£7,147.14 per annum) plus benefits

Hours: 10.5 hours per week - One night a week

Driving Licence: Not essential

Visa Sponsorship Not Available

In Honiton, our supported living house features eight self-contained flats and one twin‑occupancy apartment. Each has its own living space, kitchen and either a bathroom or shower room, alongside shared communal lounge and garden areas. We support people with learning disabilities and autism, including those who may also have eyesight loss.
