Job summary

Active Care Group in Burry Port is seeking a Night Support Worker to provide overnight care in a client’s home. The role involves a waking night shift, personal care, and helping with routines while the client sleeps.

Training is provided, with ongoing support from a Care Manager and a stable rota across the week. The position offers a flexible zero-hours contract, opportunities for NVQ-related pay scales, and access to training, pension, and staff recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is not required as full training is provided.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the client and the care team.
• Comfort with night shift routines and personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support bedtime routine and overnight personal care.
• Reposition and assist with mobility as needed during the night.
• Work as part of a 2:1 team for morning routines and transfers.
