Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a care worker to provide support to residents in a very sheltered housing facility. The role involves waking night shifts from 21:15 to 07:45, with a half-hour unpaid break, and a rolling weekend rota.

The post includes domestic and tenant-related duties as outlined in the job profile and requires commitment to service quality and continuous improvement. The post is regulated under PVG / Protecting Vulnerable Groups, with requirements for PVG, overseas checks if

Competenze

• Experience in a care setting preferred.
• Must join PVG scheme or update check.
• SSSC registration to be obtained within 3 months of employment.
• Two references required, one from current or most recent employer.
• Overseas criminal record check if spent 3+ months outside the UK in last 5 years.
