Discovery is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Ruishton, Taunton for a part-time 27-hour role. You will help seven adults feel safe, comfortable and supported through the night, in a calm and reassuring environment.

You will carry out safety checks, maintain a hygienic space, and accurately record plans and logs using IT systems to ensure high-quality care and wellbeing throughout the night.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular keeping safe checks.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic space.
• Record information using IT systems—from support plans to health and safety logs.
• Create a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere at night.
• Support people to enjoy late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them.
• Provide personal care when needed, with empathy and respect.
