Job summary

community living and support services ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to provide compassionate care to adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health challenges.

You will help with daily living tasks, administer medication as prescribed, assist with meals, budgeting, and shopping, and report concerns to your supervisor. Shifts are 3 x 12-hour nights (8pm–8am), three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Helping service users maintain a clean-living environment and assisting with laundry tasks.
• Providing emotional support when needed.
• Administer medication as prescribed.
• Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring service users follow a healthy eating routine, which may include helping with feeding.
• Supporting clients with their weekly food shopping, including purchasing groceries, COSHH supplies, and household essentials.
• Aiding with the safe management of personal belongings, budgeting, and handling money, including supporting the withdrawal of benefits from their bank accounts.
• You’ll also report any concerns to your supervisor.
