Job summary

Home Instead in Leicester is seeking an overnight care professional to provide companionship and support during the night. You will follow the care plan, record updates, and respond to client needs with a caring, patient approach.

Role involves staying awake during the night shift (approximately 9pm to 7am) and assisting with personal care and mobility as required. Training is provided, and sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
• Caring, patient and reliable
• Full right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete required mandatory training

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight companionship and reassurance
• Remain awake during night shift (roughly 9pm–7am)
• Assist with personal care and mobility as required
• Respond to client needs and follow the care plan
• Record information and report concerns to the office

Job description

You will provide overnight companionship and support, responding to the client's needs throughout the night. Duties may include:

• Providing reassurance and companionship
• You will be required to remain awake during the full night shift. (Typically 9pm - 7am. This is subject to change dependent on client)
• Supporting with personal care where required
• Assisting with mobility and personal care where required
• Responding to the client's needs during the night
• Following the care plan and recording relevant information
• Reporting any concerns or changes to the office
