Home Instead is recruiting Waking Night Care Professionals to provide overnight companionship and support in clients' homes across the South Lakes area. You will be responsible for personal care, safety, and comfort, staying alert through the night and ensuring clients feel secure and well-cared-for.

The role offers training, opportunities for fully funded qualifications (Level 2, 3, 5), and a competitive night rate up to £160. Bank holidays pay double, and a supportive employer is provided.

The Role: Waking Night Care Professional

Provide overnight support to clients across the local area, staying alert throughout the night to help with personal care, reassurance, and any needs that arise, ensuring our clients feel safe, comfortable, and settled in their own homes.

How you’ll make a difference:

Personalised Support: Assist with personal care and night-time needs.

Mobility & Safety: Help with repositioning and mobility support.

Overnight Comfort: Offer gentle reassurance if a client wakes during the night.

Morning Care: Assist with morning routines and complete accurate care records.

About You

Caring, compassionate, and dependable

Previous care experience required

Enjoys building meaningful, respectful relationships

UK Right to Work, a valid driving licence, and access to reliable transport are essential
