Home Instead Charnwood in Leicester is seeking a Waking Night Care Professional to provide overnight companionship and support. You will be awake during the night, ready to respond to client needs and to follow the prescribed care plan across a shift typically from 9pm to 7am.

Role includes assisting with personal care and mobility as required, recording information, and reporting any changes to the office. We offer flexible hours and ongoing training to support your development.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Caring, patient and reliable.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete required mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight companionship and respond to the client's needs throughout the night.
• Remain awake during the full night shift (typically 9pm - 7am).
• Support with personal care where required.
• Assist with mobility and personal care where required.
• Respond to the client's needs during the night and follow the care plan.

You will provide overnight companionship and support, responding to the client's needs throughout the night. Duties may include:

• Providing reassurance and companionship
• You will be required to remain awake during the full night shift. (Typically 9pm - 7am. This is subject to change dependent on client)
• Supporting with personal care where required
• Assisting with mobility and personal care where required
• Responding to the client's needs during the night
• Following the care plan and recording relevant information
• Reporting any concerns or changes to the office
