Job summary

Alcedo Care Crewe is seeking a Waking Night Care Assistant to support clients across Crewe and surrounding areas. You will stay awake during shifts to provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care in clients' homes, including help with personal care, medication, meals, and emotional support.

Flexible hours with 20–40+ hours per week, holiday pay and pension, free enhanced DBS, paid training, and ongoing development from our in-house team.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience welcomed but not essential.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Respectful of people’s dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Support with washing, dressing and personal care.
• Provide continence support.
• Assist with medication.
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks.
• Respond to care needs during the night.
• Complete light household tasks.
• Promote dignity and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
