Alcedo Care Crewe is seeking a Waking Night Care Assistant to support clients across Crewe and surrounding areas. You will stay awake during shifts to provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care in clients' homes, including help with personal care, medication, meals, and emotional support.

Join Alcedo Care Crewe as a Waking Night Care Assistant, supporting clients across Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Alsager, Congleton and surrounding areas.
We are looking for kind, reliable and compassionate people to provide high-quality care and reassurance throughout the night. You will support individuals in their own homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable and independent.
Typical shift times include:
8:00pm–8:00am
10:00pm–7:00am
This is a flexible-hours position, with shifts offered according to client needs and your availability. Regular shifts and fixed rota patterns may be available.
Average availability is expected to be approximately 20–40+ hours per week, although hours are not guaranteed.

As a Waking Night Care Assistant, you will remain awake and available throughout your shift to provide safe, compassionate and person-centred support.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting with washing, dressing and personal care
Providing continence support
Assisting with medication
Preparing meals, snacks and drinks
Responding to care and reassurance needs during the night
Completing light household tasks
Promoting dignity, independence and personal choice
Providing companionship and emotional support
