Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Wake Night Support Worker for Boston House in Oldham. The role involves overnight care for adults with complex needs following a brain injury, assisting with night-time routines and maintaining a safe environment.

The successful candidate will work 21:00–08:30, be calm, reliable, and capable of independent night work, and participate in a comprehensive induction and ongoing training.

About Boston House:

Boston House provides slow stream Neuro Rehabilitation for 17 adults who have complex needs following a brain injury, you will work in conjunction with a Neuro- Therapy Team assisting the people we support with their ongoing rehabilitation goals

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including

  • Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines.
  • Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night.
  • Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.
  • Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas.
  • Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept.
  • Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.

This role requires a calm, reliable, and responsible individual who can work effectively overnight to provide high-quality care and support.
