Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Wake Night Support Worker to join our Weymouth team in Dorset. This full-time role requires overnight care for individuals with learning disabilities and related needs, offering 40 hours per week.

You will monitor residents during the night, assist with night-time routines, respond to incidents, maintain a calm and safe environment, and help with light domestic tasks while documenting changes in condition. Training is provided.

Qualifications

  • Role requires a calm, reliable and responsible individual who can work overnight.
  • Excellent communication and observational skills are essential.

  • Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.

JOB ROLE:Wake Night Support Worker

LOCATION: Weymouth, Dorset DT4

HOURS: Full Time – 40 hours per week

About Weymouth:

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Weymouth, provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries

We work in partnership with Local Health Professionals such as social workers, community nurses, and specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Person Centred Planning Our staff support each person to create a person-centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future. Through a range of communication tools, we ensure that each person is closely involved in the development of their own plan.

As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
