Job description

As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines.
• Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night.
• Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.
• Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas.
• Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept.
• Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.

This role requires a calm, reliable, and responsible individual who can work effectively overnight to provide high-quality care and support. Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development.

Elm House specialises in supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism. We offer person-centred support from a dedicated staff team trained to meet individual needs. Just a 20 to 25-minute walk from the St Neots train station, individuals can explore nearby destinations such as Peterborough, Huntingdon, Sandy, and even London. The town's bus station, a 15-minute walk away, provides additional transportation options to Cambridge, Bedford, Huntingdon, and Milton Keynes. Within walking distance, individuals can immerse themselves in the vibrant town centre, which boasts an array of shops, supermarkets, and leisure facilities.
