Job summary

The Pelican, part of Public House Group, is seeking a Waiting Team Member to warmly greet guests and help with menu choices. You’ll work closely with kitchen and bar staff to deliver a smooth, high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome, offering assistance with menu choices and special requests.
• Food & drink knowledge: have a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide recommendations and answer customer queries.
• Proactively check on guests during their meal to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.
• Collaborative teamwork: work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders and other team members to ensure an efficient service.
