Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals in Chorley is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join the Waiting List & Procedures team in ophthalmology. You will manage waiting lists and theatre schedules for consultants, laser and injection lists, with strict adherence to Trust protocols and confidentiality, supporting the 18-week referral to treatment pathway.

You will need hospital IT experience, knowledge of the 18-week pathways, theatre scheduling, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience using hospital IT systems and 18 week pathways.
• Knowledge of waiting list processes and theatre scheduling.
• Understanding of information governance and data quality.
• Ability to prioritise own workload and work in a patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage waiting lists and theatre schedules for consultants, laser and injection lists.
• Ensure compliance with Trust protocols and confidentiality in all duties.
• Collaborate with clinical service departments to support 18 week RTT pathways.
