Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic team player for the Pain Management Team to support the scheduling and maintenance of procedure room bookings and theatre scheduling.

You will manage waiting lists and theatre schedules for consultants, ensure adherence to Trust protocols, protect confidentiality, and contribute to delivering the 18 week referral to treatment pathway with excellent communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our Pain Management Team in this challenging and demanding, yet rewarding role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking colleague to join our team to support the scheduling and maintenance of the procedure room bookings and theatre scheduling.

You will be responsible for managing the waiting lists and theatre schedules of individual consultants, with strict adherence to Trust protocols, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity. You will also be required to work with all our clinical service departments to ensure the delivery of the 18 week referral to treatment pathways.

You will have excellent communication, leadership, operational and inter-personal skills and must have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Trust's Waiting List booking processes and the systems that support this function along with PTL management and most importantly, Flex and IT expertise.

You will understand theatre capacity and demand issues across your specialties as you will be liaising on a regular basis with clinicians and mangers to ensure provision of an efficient and high quality service. You will ensure adherence to corporate data quality and information governance.
