Job summary

San Carlo Group is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our expanding team in London. You will prepare and cook in your section (grill, pasta, meat & fish, or pastry) to our recipes and standards, supporting the kitchen across busy shifts.

You'll work with a dedicated team, uphold food safety, maintain stock records, and help train junior staff. In return, enjoy free meals, staff discounts, and opportunities within our expanding UK and international portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2 year’s experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food in their assigned section of the kitchen, such as grill, pasta, meat & fish, or pastry.
• Ensuring that all food preparation and cooking is done in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Managing their section of the kitchen, including overseeing the work of any commis chefs or kitchen assistants.
• Ensuring that their section of the kitchen is clean and organised, and that all equipment is properly maintained.
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff and restaurant management to ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Adhering to company food safety and allergens policy.
• Maintaining accurate records of food inventory, preparation, and waste for their section of the kitchen.
• Treat everyone with respect and remain calm at all times.
