Job summary

SMBC Group in the EMEA region is seeking a Vice President for Trade & Transaction Reporting to monitor regulatory developments across MiFIR/MiFID II and translate changes into business and technical requirements.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Technology and Front Office to deliver compliant solutions, maintain controls, and improve efficiency. The role requires strong analytical ability and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MiFIR/MiFID II and related regulations.
• Experience in regulatory change initiatives or transformation projects.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across business, compliance and technology.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret regulatory changes impacting reporting obligations across EMEA.
• Partner with SMEs and technology teams to define and implement regulatory change requirements.
• Produce impact assessments, traceability matrices and technical requirements.
