Job summary

SMBC Group in London seeks a Vice President for Trade & Transaction Reporting to oversee regulatory developments (MiFIR/MiFID II) and translate them into business and technical requirements across Compliance, Operations, Technology and Front Office.

You will deliver regulatory changes, maintain compliance, reduce risk and improve efficiency, working with diverse teams to implement robust reporting controls and governance across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MiFIR/MiFID II regulations.
• Experience participating in regulatory change initiatives, transformation programmes or systems projects.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business, compliance and technology functions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret regulatory changes impacting trade and transaction reporting across EMEA.
• Define and implement regulatory change requirements with technology teams.
• Produce impact assessments and technical requirements to support compliance and risk reduction.
