ICBC Standard Bank Plc is seeking a Regulatory Reporting professional to execute, monitor and enhance the Bank's regulatory reporting processes and control framework. You will ensure timely submissions across regimes (CASS, SCV, EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR) and contribute to governance through accurate MI and issue escalation.

The role involves supporting CTB initiatives, stakeholder engagement and ongoing development of controls, with a focus on data quality, risk management and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory transaction reporting within a financial services environment, preferably across one or more relevant jurisdictions.
• Experience maintaining, implementing or improving policies, procedures and controls within an Operations or regulatory control environment.
• Experience in a transaction reporting, regulatory operations or control function, preferable in a financial institution or equivalent environment.
• Experience preparing risk, control and performance MI for stakeholders or governance forums.
• Knowledge of CASS requirements and associated operational controls is desirable
• Working knowledge of Global Markets products and trade lifecycle events

Responsabilités

• Manage external requests relating to the exchange of Unique Transaction Identifiers (UTIs)
• Manage external requests relating to delegated reporting services and trade repository reconciliation exceptions
• Maintain effective working relationships with Compliance, Operations teams, Technology and other control functions
• Ensure reporting files and messages are submitted accurately and within regulatory deadlines
• Monitor, investigate and resolve reporting exceptions, rejections and data quality issues
• Monitor, investigate and resolve exceptions arising from internal and external reconciliations
• Produce MI for key stakeholders and contribute to governance forums
• Continuously evaluate and improve the function's control framework
• Create and review procedures for all activities performed by the function
• Escalate regulatory and risk incidents through the Bank's channels
• Capture performance and risk indicators for Operational Risk measurement
• Perform deep-dive analysis on sample data to identify issues
• Support CTB change initiatives with business requirements, test scenarios and implementation readiness
• Participate in industry forums and regulatory change discussions
• Identify opportunities for process and control enhancements
• Represent the function in stakeholder engagement and escalation discussions
• Execute CASS controls and produce MI on CASS adherence
• Escalate CASS risks and control weaknesses
