Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. in London seeks an experienced Vice President to lead regulatory reporting across EMEA. You will collaborate with Compliance, tech and business teams to interpret regulations, conduct impact analyses, and implement remediation across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge and strong stakeholder management, with responsibilities spanning governance, reporting changes, and BAU support in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of key EMEA jurisdictions including MiFID RTS 22/1/2, EMIR and SFTR.
• Ability to interpret regulatory text and translate into actionable business requirements.
• Experience with regulatory change management frameworks in EMIR and SFTR.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Compliance on regulatory interpretation for all EMEA changes and cross-regional impacts.
• Conduct gap analyses comparing current reporting practices to post-change requirements across Nomura’s booking models.
• Lead remediation plans by partnering with technology teams to design and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to develop and execute UAT for regulatory changes and remediations.
• Maintain procedures, RCSA documentation, and traceability after regulatory changes.
