G MASS Consulting partners with a leading global hedge fund to enhance its European trade and transaction reporting framework from London. The role requires deep expertise in SFTR, EMIR or MiFID II/MiFIR and ownership of a key reporting obligation, with BAU oversight, testing, and continuous improvement.

You will act as the principal specialist for the assigned obligation, ensuring accurate, complete and timely reporting with clear traceability from regulation to implementation, while

• Deep practical expertise in at least one European regulatory reporting regime (SFTR, EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR).
• Experience as an obligation owner or regulatory reporting SME in a hedge fund or capital markets environment.
• Strong BAU reporting, data mapping and change-delivery capabilities.
• Hands-on data analysis including SQL querying and root-cause analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder-management skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Take end-to-end ownership of an assigned European trade or transaction reporting obligation (SFTR/EMIR/MiFID II/MiFIR).
• Maintain regulation knowledge, reportability logic, data sourcing and vendor mappings.
• Serve as primary contact for regulatory reporting questions and future changes.
• Lead horizon scanning and assess regulatory developments on the reporting framework.
• Ensure traceability from regulation to business requirements, data mappings and technical implementation.
• Oversee daily BAU reporting metrics, identify exceptions and control weaknesses.
• Coordinate responses to regulator inquiries and liaise with Compliance.
• Lead regulatory reporting change from impact assessment to UAT and post-production validation.
• Analyse data flows to identify data-quality issues and drive improvements.
