Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Vice President, Data Management Strategy in London to define and communicate a comprehensive data strategy that unlocks value from data and makes it AI-ready. You will lead strategic initiatives, drive governance, and partner with senior leaders to modernize data practices across lines of business and corporate functions.

You will shape target-state roadmaps, enable data products and platforms, and help build a data-first culture while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing enterprise data strategy and target-state roadmaps.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear narratives for executives.
• Experience supporting data governance, data platforms or data product initiatives.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-function teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables under deadlines and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define the Chief Data Office vision and target-state strategy with actionable plans.
• Establish scope and prioritization of data management initiatives.
• Apply structured problem solving to top strategic priorities.
• Collect, synthesize, analyze, and present project data and findings.
• Conduct analyses to identify issues and formulate recommendations.
• Develop strategic presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Perform competitor and industry research using public and internal sources.
• Monitor industry trends and share insights with senior executives.
• Coach and manage junior team members.
