Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Data Product Owner in London to own the vision and execution of a mission-critical data product.

You will drive data services powering client reporting, workflows, and investment processes, while advancing AI-enabled automation and data quality engineering. This role targets a builder who thrives in ambiguity, moves with agility, and translates complex data problems into durable products that teams adopt.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in data management: system-of-record, lineage, metadata, data quality, controls, stewardship.
• At least 10 years in Financial Services with data, technology and operations experience focused on Asset & Wealth Management concepts.
• Delivered in agile environments with backlog discipline, pragmatic scope control, and outcome-based execution.
• Comfortable with SQL and/or Python, navigating large datasets to validate hypotheses and work with engineering/analytics teams.
• Practical fluency with AI and Agentic AI for data products: automation, anomaly detection, and workflow orchestration.
• Able to evaluate AI in terms of value, risk, scalability, control points, and operational readiness.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels, aligning diverse groups around clear priorities and standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including governance-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery end-to-end for a critical data domain—from intake through outcomes—aligned to business priorities and measurable value.
• Run the data ownership agenda: governance, domain boundaries, downstream consumption, retention & destruction, and AI readiness.
• Translate complex needs into crisp product direction: problem statements, use cases, success metrics, user journeys, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and drive a modernization roadmap spanning data platform evolution, quality tooling, metadata/lineage enablement, and scalable processes.
• Identify and implement AI opportunities to improve STP and data quality while ensuring safety and governability.
• Drive execution with cross-functional partners across Business, Operations, Technology, and Controls; remove blockers and accelerate delivery.
• Manage dependencies and sequencing across teams, platforms, and release trains for high-quality outcomes.
• Measure delivery and outcomes: quality, timeliness, adoption, and cycle time to refine the roadmap.
