Job summary

BNY seeks a Vice President, Data Center Operations Manager to lead the Infrastructure Platform team in Harlow, Essex. You will oversee 24x7 data center operations across EMEA, drive incident response, change governance, and vendor activities to maintain security and compliance.

In this role you will manage staffing and workload, deploy infrastructure initiatives, and leverage DCIM and monitoring tools to improve efficiency and risk control, ensuring reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in large-scale data center operations.
• Significant experience leading operations in a 24x7 data center or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including compute, network, storage, power, environmental controls, and structured cabling.
• Experience in incident management, change governance, and operational risk management in a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional activities during high‑impact events.
• Experience managing third‑party vendors, onsite activities, and access controls in security‑driven environments.
• Familiarity with audit readiness, control frameworks, and regulatory expectations in enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven success in building resilient coverage models and maintaining operational continuity.
