Job description
Stable Family Home Trust is seeking enthusiastic Volunteers to support at its Gifted Garden Centre, Cafe and Artisan Craft Shop in Highcliffe. The role entails helping with customer service & engagement, supporting service users with operating the till, handling money, and general retail duties, together with plant care.
SFHT offers a fun and friendly environment and flexibility as to attendance times during weekdays.
An interest in horticulture and gardening is beneficial to help clients with potting plants and creating plant arrangements/displays.
It is rewarding and fulfilling to help play a part in making a positive difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. The development of skills at Gifted is endless - each session may focus on one skill, but with this development comes a boost in self-esteem and confidence for the people SFHT supports to go out in the local community independently.
