Autism Unlimited is seeking a compassionate Waking Night Support Worker for their residential home in Highcliffe. The role involves ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents during the night, providing essential support tailored to individual needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in health and social care, especially with autism experience, and will be supported through comprehensive training and development opportunities.
We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our caring team at our residential home in Highcliffe. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our residents during night hours, providing essential support when they need it.
You need a strong background in health and social care, along with experience of autism. Please note, Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship.
The role:
Our purpose in adult services is to empower the people we support to live as independently as possible and see them thrive. Each person we help has their own unique way of communicating, whether through PECs boards, Signalong, or repeating specific phrases. If you’ve not used Signalong previously, don't worry — training is provided!
At the heart of everything we do is promoting independence and ensuring we have a relaxed, empathetic, and encouraging team to help achieve the individuals' goals.
