Casual Ballerz CIC is a dynamic community interest company using sport, primarily football, as a tool to engage and empower young people from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. We provide inclusive access to sporting activities, mentoring, events, and employability programmes that help young people unlock their full potential.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Volunteer Grant Writer to help us secure vital funding that supports our youth programmes, community events, and future expansion. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping us grow our impact and reach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify appropriate grant opportunities from public bodies, foundations, and trusts.
• Write clear, compelling, and tailored funding proposals that align with Casual Ballerz CIC’s mission and goals.
• Maintain a calendar of submission deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to gather relevant data and success stories to strengthen applications.
• Track and report on the status of submitted applications.
• Assist in developing a library of templates and resources to streamline future grant submissions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to tailor tone and content for different funders.
• Some experience writing grant applications or funding proposals (professional or voluntary).
• A passion for grassroots sports, youth development, or social impact work.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Familiarity with community interest companies or third-sector organisations is a plus.
