Are you an enthusiastic and skilled funding grant writer? Be a part of our small but committed charity supporting people affected by a debilitating pain condition as a grant writer volunteer.

What difference will you make?

You will play a crucial role in helping our charity maintain and expand support services for those affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Your expertise will help us diversify income, support research, improve diagnosis, and develop services such as counseling, befriending, and helpline support, ultimately bringing hope to patients and their families.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in grant writing, project proposal writing, and editing skills
• Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills
• Creative and persuasive communication skills
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Ability to work remotely and search online databases for funding opportunities
• Understanding of funders’ needs and ability to tailor applications
• Experience with setting up funding email templates (desirable)
• Ability to understand our organization’s needs and work within resource constraints
• Good network with relevant organizations and charities (desirable)
• Determination to succeed

What will you be doing?

• Research and identify suitable funding sources
• Advise on funding strategies and prioritize bids
• Create a calendar of grant deadlines and track submissions
• Write tailored grant proposals and supporting documents
• Develop a case for support and write case studies
• Help develop a Trusts and Foundations strategy
• Maintain relationships with funders and report on grant impact
• Review feedback to improve future applications
