The Ramblers are seeking a Volunteering Adviser to lead and develop our volunteer experience across England, Scotland and Wales. Based in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh or remotely with travel, you will guide volunteer managers, shape policy, and drive recognition and engagement across all volunteer activities.

This permanent role is 35 hours per week within the People and Culture team. You will coordinate training, develop tools, and work with stakeholders to ensure a vibrant, inclusive

Responsabilités

• Provide volunteers and their managers with expert advice and guidance on attraction, recruitment, retention, recognition and development.
• Ensure volunteers feel connected, engaged and valued, understanding how their role fits with the charity's vision and values.
• Collaborate with the Volunteering Development Manager to develop policies, procedures and guidance for current and future volunteers and their managers.
• Develop and maintain volunteer management tools and resources to support volunteers and their managers.
• Support design and delivery of online and in-person volunteer management training workshops.
• Review and help develop a sustainable volunteer recognition model.
• Share volunteering best practices across Ramblers and with external networks.
• Support communications for volunteers and input into regular volunteer communications.
• Act as volunteering ambassador and build relationships across the Ramblers and external networks.
• Lead volunteering celebrations by engaging with national campaigns such as Volunteers’ Week and The Big Help Out.
• Engage with Volunteer managers across the organisation and assist with implementing the volunteer strategy.
